Murray County Classic

Experience horsepower like it was intended. Featuring the workhorses of yesteryear, the Murray County Classic Draft Horse Show offers the beauty, grandeur and sheer force of today's draft horses.

The 2022 Murray County Draft Horse Show, July 8-10th, features the cart, team, unicorn, 4 horse and 6 horse hitch classes. The draft horse competition is held at the Murray County Fairgrounds located in Slayton, Minnesota.  You do not want to miss the fun!

Friday, July 8th - Gates Open at (TBD) 
Classic Cart Series, Junior Cart and Junior Team Show begins at 7:30pm

Saturday, July 9th - Gates Open at 9:00 am
Old Time Farming Demonstrations - 10:00 am
Draft Horse Show - 2:00 pm    

Sunday, July 10th - Gates Open at 9:00 am
Draft Horse Show - 12:30 pm

(This will be the second year we have added the Friday show.  The main show days,  however, will still be held on Saturday and Sunday - come for one or better yet, come for all 3!  Not one show will be the same)!

Nearly 100 Horses on the Grounds! In addition to the Team Judging, there will also be Farming Demonstrations, Hands On Demonstrations, Food Booth, Dairy Malts, Souvenirs and more! Admissions is only $7 per person (10 and under Free).
